How To Join

To become a member of Page Up, you must meet the below criteria and be nominated by an Arthur W. Page  Society member at your organization.
Page Society members can nominate a Page Up member by completing this Nomination Form . If you are interested in Page Up but your organization does not have a Page Society member, please contact Dan Strouhal at dstrouhal@awpagesociety.com
Eligibility Criteria
For a Corporate Nominee:
• Holds a senior communications position in the company;
• A realistic candidate for the top corporate communications position with a broad range of responsibilities; and
• Considered within the organization to be a corporate communications expert and/or considered a thought leader in corporate communications (supported by published articles, conferences or speaking engagements and contributions to the industry).

For an Agency Nominee:
• Holds a senior leadership position in the agency;
• A realistic candidate to lead a Page member-qualifying agency; and
• Considered within the organization to be a corporate communications expert and/or considered a thought leader in corporate communications (supported by published articles, conferences or speaking engagements and contributions to the industry).

For an Educator Nominee:
• Employed in a full-time public relations or corporate communication teaching position in an accredited institution of higher learning; and
• Regarded as an emerging thought leader in public relations or corporate communications based upon publication of a substantial body of research that has made a significant contribution to the body of knowledge and literature of our field.

In addition, educator candidates must meet one of these two criteria:
• Possess an earned doctorate or its equivalent; or
• Be currently serving as a senior faculty member of their program or instructional group in their institution of higher learning.

For a Nonprofit/Governance Nominee:
• Holds a senior communications position in the organization;
• Has significant professional communications experience; and
• Considered a thought leader in corporate communications (supported by published articles, conferences or speaking engagements and contributions to the industry).

Nomination Process

Page Society members may nominate up to three senior staff for Page Up. Larger organizations may be permitted to nominate up to 5 individuals, with the approval of Page Up’s Membership Committee.

Nominations will be evaluated by the Membership Committee and are subject to final approval by the Page Society Board of Trustees.

No term limits are expected, but participants must be re-nominated every 2 years by their Page Society member. Re-nomination will not require another full review.

Membership Dues

The annual membership dues for US members in 2017 are $2,500 per person for corporate or agency members, $595 for educators and $995 for nonprofit/government members. You can check the late fees for renewal and global members’ dues here. Membership runs through the end of the calendar year.

Annual dues cover membership, online participation and webinar/teleconference events. There will be additional fees for most in-person events, such as attendance at the Page Up Annual Conference, which is a separate event from the Page Society Annual Conference.
